Read more of our first article on Petaluma Patch. This article highlights the need we felt in the community for an old-world style eatery where locals and visitors alike could mingle, have a drink, converse and, most importantly, eat delicious food late into the night. In addition to the downtown dinner crown and those locals and non-locals who enjoy eating late, Speakeasy also caters to the service industry "Speakeasy will be open evenings only, serving food until the deliciously late hour of 2am. Besides targeting the bar crowd, the owners also want the restaurant to become the kind of place bartenders, waiters and others in the local food industry can head to after clocking out." Chef Dindo Borja has added a delicious new fork and knife sandwich to our fall menu to warm your belly and quell your appetite for that creamy, hearty, comfort food so perfectly suited for these crisp autumn nights. Smoked ham, fontina and sharp cheddar cheeses... Hot and gooey inside local Bovine Bakery focaccia and topped with a free range Wilson Ranch egg and buttery mornay sauce. Served from 5pm until 2am. Bon appetit. Article on "Newest Restaurant in Town"Check out Petaluma 360's Houston Porter's article about Speakeasy in his food blog "Above the Brim". We're so happy with the community's response to our food, made possible by our amazing Chef Dindo Borja, and the cozy and warm atmosphere at our little Speakeasy. Houston's article does a great job of summarizing exactly why we created this space for Petaluma, and we love hearing that both residents and visitors alike are enjoying Speakeasy as much as we are. |
